Floating Hearts Wall Art
It is about that time for Valentine’s Day crafts and decorating! I am getting ready. How about you?
I pulled out my boxes but of course every year I love to add new decor.
I grabbed my huge picture frame that I use for photo ops at parties. I love to decorate it in all kinds of ways.
Here is my frame before:
I decided that it is time for it to be painted. So, I painted it white and distressed it.
Then, to customize it for Valentine’s, I pulled out my red Baker’s twine and felt.
I knew I wanted something with hearts, so I began cutting out my hearts. Based on the felt I had on hand, I chose red and gray.
Because I like to use this frame for many things, I decided to tape the baker’s twine onto the frame for easy removal.
Then, I hot glued my hearts onto the twine.
I hung it on my wall in the living room but soon realized for this to be wall art, I needed more. So, I rememberd I had these letters that spell out LOVE. I added some baker’s twine to the letters and hung around my floating wall art.
This project was fun and easy to make. I love the floating hearts look and now who ever enters my home will feel the love right away!!!
So heart-sy, So Lovey Dovey and SO La-Dee-Da!
