In-N-Out Burger wall

In-N-Out Burger, can I get a woo hoo!!!
Any In-N-Out Burger fans out there? I am. I haven’t had the burger restaurant in my life for very long but I am completely hooked. But I also know a teenage boy who loves In-N-Out Burger so how to decorate a wall in his bedroom using his favorite fast food place? I created an In-N-Out Burger wall using actual items from a recent lunch there.
First, they ask if you want to eat it in the car, so then they give you a lap mat. On this mat was the big juicy looking burger and I knew immediately what I could do with it. I cut it out and modge podged onto my canvas. I used my Cricut to cut vinyl “In-N-Out Burger” words. I bought 3 canvases and decorated each one differently.

The next one, I used what the actual burger is wrapped in to make another canvas. It had the sercet sauce on it so I cleaned it up a bit but also added distress ink to it, just to help with the mess.

The last canvas I wanted to recreate the palm trees that they are so famous for. I used my cup as a template. I bought wood palm trees. They were already painted green and brown, so I painted them white and then red over that. I painted red stripes to a canvas and added the palm trees. I also added a ketchup package to it, just to add texture.

I also printed out a couple of photos of the food. One being Animal style fries and the other an Animal style burger.
For those of you who don’t know, there is a regular In-N-Out Burger menu and then there is a secret menu that only true fans know of. It is like a secret code, so get to know the code before you visit.
Hint: google secret menu. If you like grilled onions on your burger, ask for a cheeseburger Animal style.

Since I used items that I had from my lunch....lap mat, cup, burger package, this really was inexpensive to do. I bought the canvases at 40% off at Michaels but everything else I had on hand.
Warning: you can not look at those picture or this wall for very long because your tummy will start growling and craving a burger. In fact, just creating this wall, now I am hungry. Well, no one said crafting/decorating was easy, works up an appetite.
Next time, you head over to an In-N-Out Burger tell them the La-Dee-Da Crafter sent you. Just kidding, no discounts or anything. I am not famous or have an “in” with them. I wish…..

So In-N-Out, So appetizing and So La-Dee-Da!!!!

This is so very clever! You should send a picture of it to In and Out Burger. They would love to see it. I am sure Austin loves it! Don’t know how you come up with these ideas but they are great and so fun for the kids.

I’d better not show this post to my Sexy Nerd. He’s an In-n-Out fanatic and would redo his entire office if he saw this!

Found you through TT&J. Very creative! I used to work for In-n-Out and I think you should send in your photos as well. They would more than likely feature you in there quarterly newsletter. WE (or they, I should say) live for this!!! Mmmm…now I’m craving a shake! =)

ME! ME! I am a crazy In-n-Out Fanatic! Whenever we travel my husband maps out where the nearest one might be in hopes that we can make it there. When we visited Legoland 2 years ago our kids kept asking, “why do we keep going back to the same burger place?” Silly kiddos! :-) This is super creative and cute and I’m so glad you shared it with us at Inspiration Friday this week!
